I just could not see cheap, like, at all. I have long had an issue while playing Wordle where I lose the ability to recognize when EE versus EA is correct. I didn’t think anything would fit there with EAP, so I ended up just randomly plugging letters in until I found something that didn’t turn red. Then a quick Google to see what arepa is and I thought “Wait, I think I’ve heard of that, sold!”
At least it gave me enough information to finally get past my EE/EA block and see cheap.
I have mental blocks like that too sometimes, but not with any particular letters. When that happens I usually open up word pad and type the known letters out in different arrangements. Then it usually comes together and often it is just a simple word like cheap, funny how that is.

Rough outing today. First I messed up my second word, which is supposed to be prone. No idea why I guessed prune but at least it didn’t hurt me. In fact it helped me, giving me a free check on U. But then I lost two coin tosses in a row on glove/globe and blood/bloom. Almost ran out of guesses.
We have spotted a rare J in the wild!

I was doing pretty good until the last word. The sad thing is PIPER was the first thing that came to mind, but I was avoiding it because of the double consonants.

For the #1 word, I could only see Quell…was surprised when I saw that wasn’t right. I was drawing a blank - oh yeah, there is a letter J in the alphabet. Lost the coin toss on Wrong vs. Prong.
Indeed we have! As you’ll see in my hidden comment above…I forgot it existed.
I started yesterday’s Quordle #450 too late…got three words, and then the board cleared so I couldn’t finish. Darn it.

Well, I started out good – lol. I resorted to a sleuth word (unfix) for the mega-trap to at least check some of the words – I was excited about the results, which just left Wiper, but then I realized I didn’t think of Riper. I bet that’s it…nope. Ok then it has to be Wiper…nope again. What is it? Ohhhh, PIPER. At least I didn’t fail, so there’s that.
Edit to add: I didn’t even think about Biker…good thing.
EJECT? Another J…now they’re just messin’ with us!

First off, warty as an answer is lame. However, it did fit into a bit of a story with my order of answers: A knave? What did you sever off of the knave?! Something warty in the pubic region…oh no…

I decided to go with different start words and letters today to shake things up a bit. I lost two coin tosses (for Irony and Terra), and I never saw Arbor…was sure it was Briar. Limit was a lucky guess considering only an L and I in yellow, though not sure how many choices I had, as I just went for it without thinking further.
Thanks…a welcome relief after that 10 the previous day.
Once again, I didn’t get to playing Sequence #453 early enough. I got three words solved (got lucky on two of them), but then midnight o’1 struck and I lost everything. I played right after Quordle, thus why I had to manually post my results for that game. I wish they let you finish, as long as you start before midnight. Blossom does…the other night I was in the middle of playing and noticed it was past midnight and I could still finish. Then again, I am sure I’m the only one who plays so late (I’m a night owl ).
