Looks like we all had a tough go of this one. I was playing in a big hurry before midnight struck, and didn’t have time to think things through, so I was tossing up the first words I was seeing - at least I didn’t fail! I doubt I’d have done that much better if I had time though.
I am starting to think that way too!

After seeing Blast, I hoped I could solve without a 2nd start word, but I ended up having to use a word to check letters anyways (Minor), and that helped to not only rule out a bunch of words for the #1 word, but giving me the M for Filmy - I also saw Dimly, but Duvet ruled that out, thankfully.
