Good job to the both of you @EllisDee and @chiliwillybing for your 3456’s in Quordle! And nice score Ellis on Sequence too…it was indeed a good day for you.
I didn’t see the double L either until I was getting ready to hit enter on another word, even though they were right there together! Maybe because L is a somewhat unobtrusive letter, I’m thinking double i might be more difficult to see as well.
I saw geese first, but then realized guise would let me check all vowels. Then foggy felt stronger than boggy or doggy.
Today felt like I was finishing a race in first place but then stumbled in my last step and fell face forward through the tape to win it. Stupid smock. Including Wordle, smock turned my 366 day into a 367.
Started off with a mistake – replaying the yellow P in first position – but no harm no foul.
What’s up with bused? I thought past tense verbs ending in ED weren’t valid solutions? I couldn’t see anything other than past tense ED verbs, namely mused and hosed. I call bullshit on bused.
This annoyed me so much I went and checked the original Wordle answer list to see if bused was on it: Bused is a valid answer according to the original Wordle list! Also bullshit.
Fortunately my guesses on the early words eliminated L and D, leaving vying as the only viable answer at the end.
