Oh shit, score! I didn’t find any feedback option to voice a complaint, but I did manage to click the very top part of the puzzle that the ads were covering, and then the ads shrunk back down so that I could see my puzzle words. Well, the first six words, anyway.
Awesome! I never thought to try that. You saved the day !! Now we just have to up our game so we don’t go beyond a 6.

I guess I am too, never heard of it before. Although after looking up the definition I kinda like it, in contrast with some of the other dumb obscure words they’ve used.
That is kind of neat, but I guess that means we should buckle in for the inevitable “recto” as an answer.

Finally guessed right with a 50/50 (Flung vs. Plump). 
Verso seemed sort of familiar to me, but I think it just reminded me of Virtuoso 
. Looked it up, and no…not familiar.
TIP for the guesses being covered up after you finish:
When I finish the games, the words have always gotten covered up on my devices (old laptop and the one I’m currently using). I don’t get ads, as I use an ad blocker, but they still get covered up. I found out you can just zoom down until the squares with letters show up readable (they get tiny at first, but keep going lower zoom and they’ll get a little bigger at some point*).
*For Quordle, I play with the “small” game setting (found in settings), so I can see all four word boards, and when I finish I then have to zoom down to 60% or 70% to get the words to show up so I can read them. For Sequence, I play with the “large” game setting, and when I finish I don’t think I have to zoom down as far to get it all to show up. YMMV depending on screen size and resolution, and not sure if this method will work on a mobile phone.
@EllisDee You can contact them with feedback on the games by going to the Webster’s main website page, scroll down to very bottom to find the “Contact Us”. There’s a drop-down menu with Games so it goes to the correct department, and then you can say which game you are contacting them about in the text body. I have contacted them before…once with a technical issue a long while back, and they got back to me about it. The other time it was just some feedback, but no response to that…wasn’t really needed though.
Taking note. That’s actually a pretty good fishing word - all frequently used letters.

I see what you guys are talking about now with the words getting covered up. As I mentioned, they always were covered on my devices, but I’d just zoom down a ways to reveal them. But now I see they have redesigned things a bit and added their other games below, and I zoomed down but the words were still covered. I then saw that I had to click on the game board and then the pop-up with the score moves down a tad, and then zooming down worked. It’s a really dumb website design and annoying.
