Yes, because it thought it was an egg-cellent idea.
I had no idea they could jump up that high! It was a fairly good size, so not sure how young it was…I did a little research and maybe it was a Brahma breed possibly, but what do I know - lol.

I thought ENNUI might be a tough word, but it doesn’t seem to have caused any problems.
We’ve had it a couple of times before. I’m pretty sure the first time it took me awhile to come up with.
Yep, I second what Chili said…I don’t think it has shown up in a long while though.
See, I haven’t the faintest idea if that word has shown up before or not. I know that 2 of my 3 starting words have been answers in wordle. I don’t think any of them have been in quordle. And now that I’ve been talking about it, I may remember that ENNUI has been in quordle. I think I used STALK recently, but that was a sleuth word, not an answer. And that’s pretty much it. I couldn’t even tell you what yesterday’s quordle answers were.
I do wordle, quordle, and sedecordle every night, so that’s 21 words per day. That’s along with a fair bit of reading, so I see a lot of words every day. I’m still somewhat amazed that you folks remember any quordle answers more than 15 minutes after the game.

It’s always nice when the letters in the answers help with the next words.
I don’t always, but Ennui kind of just sticks in my brain as it has unusual letter placements. Like you, I play enough word games (Quordle, Sequence, and Wordle, and occasionally Octordle) that I get confused where I last saw what word, if I remember it at all. That of course doesn’t matter for this game, as they do repeat words, but I’ll see words for Wordle and I’ll feel like they’ve shown up already, but they haven’t.
Hi @Beesnest…I see you snuck on in here yesterday! Welcome to the thread. Have you played Quordle before or just getting started with it?

There’s that Rajah again…it wasn’t even on my radar, but I’d have gone with Hardy in any case. I got lucky on Blend (over Bleed) and Digit (over Timid).
@chiliwillybing looks like you did well with guessing those two 50/50’s correctly too.

I almost went with Bumpy before trying to solve Slept-Sleet, but if wrong, it wouldn’t tell me if it was Buddy, Buggy, or Bunny. So I went with Slept first, and if no P in the first word, I’d have to put up a sleuth to check D, N, G. Didn’t need to though, thankfully.

The last word could have been BRUNT, GRUNT, or TRUNK (and maybe others). I figured GRUNT could be correct, and would point me to the right answer if it wasn’t.
I can’t even remember minutes later when I’m posting my results, LOL. But when I’m actually working the puzzles previous answers come back to me, some sort of situational memory I suppose.
Nice Q6 @SeaSun !
