I had 12 possible words for the #1 word…yikes. There were enough repeat letters among them that I decided to try to solve vs. put up a sleuth word. I got lucky with choosing Lemon…could only be Felon from there.

WINDY helped eliminate a bunch of words for the #1 word - I then had 4 words to choose from and got lucky choosing River! Not so lucky between Green and Preen, but then lucky again between Smart and Start.
I wasn’t sure if anyone would catch the reference. I should know this place better by now.
The Commonwealth Shakespeare Company does a production on Boston Common every summer; often it’s a rather non-traditional staging. A few years ago it was The Two Gentlemen of Verona, as set in Rat-Pack era Las Vegas, complete with a few period-correct songs. One of the characters sang Fever and the actress really nailed it.

@chiliwillybing Out of curiosity, what made you go with Rouen? I haven’t heard of it…found out it’s a city in northern France on the Seine River. Oui Oui!
I was trying to check for the O or U but then also see where that E went. I’ve raised a lot of different types of poultry, Rouen is also a breed of duck so that just popped to mind. I wasn’t sure if it would work, but it did

Story Time
Out walking my dog the other night, we saw a chicken just chillin’ on the hood of a truck. We live in an urban neighborhood, so it was weird and out of place to see a chicken just sitting there. I have no idea how she got up there either…don’t know a lot about chickens as far as how high they can jump up to. Not sure what type of chicken she was…no comb or waddle, and looked to be dark gray from what I could see (I didn’t want to get too close so as not to freak her out with my dog), but she sure was cute.
The people across the street from where the truck was parked do have chickens, so I think it had to be one of theirs. They have a 6’ tall fence with a locked gate though, so I couldn’t go knock on their door. There is a section with just a hedge, so she probably snuck out that way, but I’d think they’d have had their chickens in the coop for the night by then.
I was pretty worried about her though…it was around 9pm and we have 2 coyotes roaming about our neighborhood that I’ve seen a few times late at night. Thankfully, I ran into one of my neighbors on the way back and she said she has their phone number and can text them. I haven’t heard an update about it yet though, but I’m sure all was fine and they got her back inside for the night…I hope!
So, you’re saying that the chicken crossed the road?
We may have some further questions about the incident.

I’m curious to see how other folks do with this one.
Light bodied and bantam breed chickens can easily fly over a 6 foot fence, up onto a truck and even up into trees.
If you couldn’t really see a comb and wattles it was likely either very young or an adult bird with a pea comb.
Chickens can have any one of about 10 different types of combs.
Hope she made it back home!
