“Buckley Christopher George Robley III” was a key player in the Mid South wrestling promotion, both in the ring and behind the scenes as a booker. He booked one of the hottest angles in the history of the promotion, the “Freebirds blind Junkyard Dog” storyline that drew huge money and really launched the 'Birds careers.
Also held tag titles in the area with Bill Watts and Junkyard Dog.
Worked in Central States, Amarillo, Georgia, and Japan among other places. Friend/advisor/sometimes manager of Bruiser Brody.
I met him years ago, during the above mentioned Freebirds/JYD storyline. He was kind enough to spend a few minutes talking with me while he signed an autograph I wish I still had.
