My condolences to you and yours, ExTank; your dad sounds like a good guy.

Sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry. What a wonderful life–we should all have such an impact on the world.

I’m so sorry to read about your loss. He sounds like a wonderful man.

My condolences, ExTank.

^^ What they said.

I’m guessing he knew my uncle Buddy. WWII Navy vet and resident of the St. Louie area for some thirty years.

Condolences, ExTank. Sounds like a life well-lived, in public service and for family.

ExTank–I been there.
Lost my Dad…has it been five years now?

You will someday be able to laugh again–it will take awhile, but you will.

Fair winds and following seas, Sailor. Godspeed.

My condolences ExTank. He enlisted when he was 16, in the middle of a war? Wow.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. My old man is a similarly dyed in the wool military man, although he was a land lubber in the Army for 36 years from 1963-1999.

I fear this for my Dad too, as he’s now 76 and has a history of heart issues. Your Dad lived to be 90, which is above the mean and a pretty hoary old age.

You will see him again.

I noticed that, too.

Although he might have waited until November 21, when he turned 17. Either way, he was eager to serve.

Good job sailor. Well done.

My condolences to you and your family.

Bro, that was a life well lived. My condolences for your loss.

Condolences on loosing your Dad from a fellow son of a SeaBee.

My condolences. Those that served in WW2 and called up again for Korea is a shrinking group of admirable folks.

A nice long stretch. RIP

Wishing you and your family peace. Sounds like a life well lived.

At age 70, I guess I’ve also attained the exalted rank of Salty Old Seabee. We were the “bad boys of the Navy”. Condolences on your loss.
