A tree fell on my car last night and crushed it. What a shame. It wasn’t sexy, but it was cheap, reliable transportation. It hat 137k on the odometer, and was running great. Too bad. I guess I start car-hunting Monday.
So sorry for your loss.
[2010 Taurus SHO](http://reviews.cnet.com/sedan/2010-ford-taurus- sho/4505-10865_7-33719730.html)- Your car would want you to move on and be happy.
Why did the tree fall? The only times I’ve seen a tree fall were from a hurricane or from being cut.
80+ mph winds last night, according to the news, and my flattened car.
You can pound that out! A little plastic over the window and you’re good for another 100K.
My sympathy. My Mercury just passed 160K last night.
