Except there is. Or to put it another way, those with greater european ancestry tend to perform better on psychometric measures. Which is what you would expect according to the evolutionary argument.
It means that people with greater caucasion ancestry tend to score higher.
If darker skin colour was linked to lower scores both between siblings and between families then it would be consistent with a colorist/discrimination type argument. But when you check the relationship between siblings as opposed to between families - you’ll see that isn’t the case. There is an analysis of the NLSY97 sample here.
