Racialism: Everyone's Favorite Politics

Class is a complex social phenomenon and while I would use the language of class, I would not advocate for policies that address class. Crafting state policy around class has historically been bad for freedom and prosperity.

Substitute the word race for class if you want as well.

Just tell us what “answer” you are fishing for, and we’ll tell you whether we agree or not.

The progressive race classification is the same as the KKK race classification.

Nonresponsive, and another attempt to equate those who help with those who hate.

It belongs to the same general category of word as “evolutionist” or “SJW” or “Alinskyite” or “sheeple”.

Which is which?

Unsubscribed as not being much of a debate.

Somehow, what you have said here does have a bit of truth to it.

It is the bigots who enforce the idea that a person’s acceptable place in society is due to the color of their skin.

Liberals do not define race, they observe victims of racial bigotry, and seek to mitigate the damage done.

That the people that hate others due to their race identify similar people to those that are observed as victims of racial hatred should not be that confounding.

Really??
Not worth the effort-byeee!

This is a wildly incorrect assertion.

That argument is ridiculous, even by the standards you’ve set in this thread.

You might as well claim that people used to get treated for demonic possession even though demonic possession wasn’t real. And by the argument you just made, that means people shouldn’t get treated for cancer.

Reading this thread is like WillFarnaby writing eight musical notes on a piece of paper, giving it to us, and asking if it is jazz… and then when we can’t be sure, he argues that jazz doesn’t exist.

No, the definition still stands. It’s just unfortunate for you that, once again, reality refuses to conform to the visions in your mind.

Hey, look everybody. Will has put me on ignore! I WIN TEH INTERNETS!

I guess that’s my cue to leave the thread myself. But don’t worry about leaving me behind, Will. Since your arguments are exactly the same in every thread, just bookmark this one and read my posts. Thus I refute Berkeley.

And in your opinion, how well has affirmative action been instituted in the last 20 years? We’ve had affirmative action for half a century now and the benefits seem to be tailing off, perhaps its time we tried something else. Besides, it really looks like the supreme court will be getting rid of it soon. better to find some non-race based way of achieving a more equitable society.

As opponents of an equitable society are specifically using race as a way of increasing the inequalities, I’m sure that those bigots would appreciate your suggestions that we ignore the effects of their actions.

What if we all join an organization whose leader told us to love one another equally? Would that work?

Doubtful. A leader like that is ripe for a coup by cynics who would take advantage of his message of love and equality, and turn it into an organization that instead justifies hatreds based on deliberate misunderstandings of the leader’s message.
