Reminds me of one of my favorite things the smart-ass Euro-music press ever did, when one of the English tabloids ran, in every issue, a “Rage Against The ___________ Machine” column. For example, “Rage Against The Washing Machine.”
One was “Rage Against The Answering Machine,” and it went kinda like, “I hate you answering machine! I run to the phone to get a call and you get it before I do! Then I have to make you stop talking! When I want to call someone, you are there and I have to talk to you instead! I hate you answering machine!”
Actually, I’m pretty sure those are gods, not indigenous groups. The song is about unrest in Mexico though, and I believe its referring to the gods seeking their vengeance for the wrongs that were committed against Mexico in the past.
