Does any one know what effect Tom uses in this song? It sounds like some wah is in there but what else? It’s driving me crazy, I must know. Info would be appreciated, thanx.
If I had to take a guess I say it is probably a delay along with a Digitech Whammy Pedal. He uses the pedal alot, check out the beginning of Voice of The Voiceless, and Becomming by Pantera for examples. It can change the pitch up or down by up to two octaves. This is just an educated guess based on interviews about his rig and personal interviews. I would also say he probably is doing the pickup selector thing to (ie one pick-up turned up and the other turned down and switch between them to create dead spots)
