Rand Paul presidential campaign discussion thread

An outfit called “America’s Liberty PAC” has put out an ad touting the upcoming Paul Brawl on the Hill, in which a shirtless and brawny Rand Paul assisted by fire-breathing bald eagles takes on Big Brother’s minions on SUNDAY! SUNDAY!! SUNDAY!!!

Oh-kaaayy.

That happened.

Now Paul wants redacted information from the 9/11 Report released.

Paul polls better against Clinton now than any other GOP candidate: down just 2.8% in the RCP average. Rubio is next best at 4.2%

This should be very scary for GOP folks. If a guy who has 0% chance of winning the primary is their best candidate, they are ass over tits.

The other problem is that if he somehow did get the nomination, the military-industrial-complex-uber-alles chunk of the party would pick up its ball and go home.

No, they’d back Clinton, whose views they find completely unobjectionable.

republicans good! Democrats bad! Republicans good! Democrats bad! Republicans good! Democrats bad! Republicans good! Democrats bad! Republicans good! Democrats bad! Republicans good! Democrats bad! Republicans good! Democrats bad! Republicans good! Democrats bad!

Indeed so.

The Military-Industrial Candidate: Hillary Clinton prepares to launch the most formidable hawkish presidential campaign in a generation

No, just recognition that the military industrial complex has its grip on both parties. Even Liz Warren is in favor of big subsidies to companies like Boeing.

Rand Paul’s speeches to stop the renewal of the so called “Patriot” Act are among the greatest in the history of America. He is a true patriot.

He is also pressing for the release of the 28 page chapter that Bush classified about who helped fund 9/11. Deliberate hiding of the financing of a crime is obstruction of justice.

9/11 is now main stream news. www.911Skeptics.org/news

As opposed to how it’s been an obscure, little-known event buried under the carpet until now.

That has me wondering, is there anything on the standard browsers, say, cntrl-right click-alt that tells the browser to never, even, under any circumstances, bring up this page?

Joe Klein has a very generous article about Rand Paul:
