Can you get these without Googling? Let’s find out!
What two British actresses both celebrated their birthdays yesterday? (Right now, “yesterday” is October 5, 2005.)
Mathasar, Anne of Green Gables, Peter Parker’s boss, and a student who was taught by both Dr. Johnny Fever and a Scots comedian were all guest stars on what TV show?
What Canadian music act had a hit song that had a lot of words and singing, but no chorus? Well, it was a hit in Canada.
Who came to the rescue when Senator Chapman’s boat was attacked by the Imperial Japanese Navy?
Actress Jennifer Hale is one of the hardest working small screen actresses around, so why do you so rarely see her work on TV?
Takashi Shimura, Noriyuki Morita, Kensaku Watanabe, and Olivia de Havilland. Which one doesn’t belong? It’s not because of gender.
Antony Sher played him, but if you like watching “Family Guy,” you don’t even know who he is!
Which of Madonna’s former buds punched out David Lowery?
What weapon does Col. Stacy fire? You can call him Theresa.
Who is the Onion’s “area eater,” frequently confused by buffet procedures?
#6 – Noriyuki “Pat” Morita is the only one not born in Japan. I knew it had to be something along those lines, because I’d heard that Olivia de Havilland (still alive, if you can believe it!) was born somewhere in Asia, though I’d thought it was India. Nope – Tokyo, according to imdb.
I don’t know, but I’m pretty sure the teacher was Venus Flytrap and not Johnny Fever. Venus teachs a kid about the atom using an analogy about gang members called the “pros”, the “neuts” and the “elects.” Johnny overheard Venus and asked him how long he taught.
He’s not talking about an episode of WKRP. He’s talking about the show “Head of the Class” which had Howard Hesseman and Billy Connoly both play the main character, a teacher of G & T students. One of the students (the pretty redhead) was played by Khrystyne Haje. Along with Megan Follows (Anne) and JK Simmons (JJJ), all were guest stars of Law & Order.
I don’t know who Mathasar is, which will probably offend some legion of geekdom somewhere.
