I can try to critique as much as you’d like…I’ve been studying and refining my workouts intensely for the last couple years or so…
What’s a Shovelglove?
I would suggest trying to transition away from machines and onto freeweights (barbells or dumbbells). They do a better job of recruiting more support muscles to work, providing an all-around better workout in the long-run.
I do more split training than full-body. something like:
Day 1: Chest/Back
Day 2:Legs/Biceps
Day 3:Shoulders/Triceps
Day4: Extended cardio
repeat
I work out everyday, working through that rotation, alternating between heavy on the first go-thru and more endurance on the second, and flipping back and forth for variety. For reference, I’ve lost approximately 40 lb in the last year, while significantly increasing strength and appearance…
I guess you could say this is an area of interest…
Your weightlifting is too long and shouldn’t be full body. Split it up and shorten it. I wouldn’t go over 45 mins personally for weights. Gaining weight is fine, its the lovehandles you want to lose.
