Somewhat interested in the RAV4, but not had time to go look at one yet. Would want the model with the V6 and the 3rd row seat.
For some reason, none of the websites, including Toyota’s, seem to show pics of the interior with that seat.
Does that seat fold into the floor? Does the regular back seat fold down?
Anybody with a 2006 or 2007 have any opinions about it?
I have an '06 with the third row. Only available in V4 here, though.
The middle row folds down 60-40 and the back row folds down 50-50, so if both benches are collapsed you have a full, even bed. For kids or very small adults (like no more than 5’2" at most) the back row is good; anything larger and it’s rather uncomfortable. You really don’t have leg depth, just the distance of cushion and hardware from the seat to the floor.
In general I’ve found it to be a rather well-performing, reasonably comfortable family vehicle.

Thanks, but something must be wrong with my computer. Getting to the 7 pics in trunk/cargo, kept getting either an exterior of the car or a shot of the back door open, stuffed with baggage.
I then tried Interior, and got a list of 30 pics, none of which showed the 3rd row seat. I must be jinxed, or Toyota does not want to sell me one.
