But, anyway the question was asked and not answered, being (sadly, predictably) hijacked.
But since I’m asking about policy and not complaining, I’ll ask “upstairs” in ATMB.
So what’s this about banning for hijacking threads?

Maybe 'sprix shouldn’t listen to chat rumors. 
There is no new rule to ban people who hijack threads. I suppose if someone did it every thread we’d consider it “being a jerk”, but I don’t think any current dopers need fear banning.
That’s a relief to hear, particularly since I hijacked no thread, either in GQ or in my former home away from home.

Considering her hard work, her boundless talent, and her good common sense, I think she’s a natural to help adminster this board. I remember when I thought she was David B’s male lover. My, those were the days. 
I became an admin to help out with setting up the bbboy temp board, and sort of stayed on. We’ve been so busy getting things set up on two new boards there hasn’t been the usual announcement.
I accept congratulatory donations of single-malt and Guinness and cute dark-haired men.
RE: the men, how old and how dark haired? My son is nearly 18, dark blonde hair, blue eyes, 6 foot 1, 180 lbs, barrel chested, swimmer, bright underachiever, but frankly, to date, his choices in girlfriends have left me underimpressed. Perhaps we could arrange an introduction?
