I read this book last night, and while at first I was amused at the description of the nuttiness of the very rich re their expectations the more I read the book it just became a huge laundry list of offenses against an almost supine, Stepin Fetchit of a main character. In the end the evil, paranoid rich bitch mother was actually less annoying than the spineless protagonist who seems to begin to relish one verbal and psychological whipping after another.
The buildup to the end is just pitiful where the devil mother fires her and then instead confronting the evil queen face to face goes back to the parents apartment and shouts into the nanny cam! I can’t recall a more stupid and unsatisfying story ending in recent memory.
