I just finished watching the TV series Presumed Innocent and realized that I had done just what I described in the title. I remember back in the 70s I did the same with Billy Liar. I can’t think of any others off the top of my head. So, any others that anyone else has got the trifecta?
As a bonus Billy Liar was also a play and a musical. I guess an animated version is possible too. So has anyone managed more than 3 versions of the same story?
the 1985 live action TV miniseries that aired on CBS
the 1992 to 1995 live action TV series that aired on Disney (interesting trivia note the last thing OJ Simpson filmed before being arrested for murder was an episode of this show. It never aired.)
the 1999 live action TV miniseries that aired on ABC
Also I have read Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol
and have seen multiple adaptions to in live action and animated films and TV specials. There has never a full fledged TV series but multiple series have had episodes based on the story
I saw the 1990 movie in about 1991 or so. That prompted me to read the book, which I acquired and read shortly after. Then, much later when the TV series came along, I watched that too. I’ve got the DVDs now; so I’ve watched it a few times.
I’d like to say The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, because I’ve seen the TV series, the movies, and also was in a stage version… Except I’ve never read the book.
