USA Today interview with Al Gore

Oh lord. WHAT was he thinking during this interview?!? Entirely too much speculation, entirely too much posing, entirely too much CHEESE.

Here’s Dubya’s interview.

Remember Gore’s first answer? “Bush is clamming up; I’m talking to you.” Um, no. I personally don’t feel Bush is a brilliant man. But for the first time in the campaign, Bush looks like a genius compared to Gore.

Who the hell SINGS during an interview? At what is he singing to? A fork. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, our Vice President is serenading flatware (“Serenading Flatware” being the name of my next band…).

I’m still voting for Gore, but it sure is going to be hard explaining this one to my girlfriend the Republican if she sees it.

This part didn’t seem to make it in the OP:

Funny.
The link to the Bush interview did not work, could you try again.

What’s the problem? Gore seems to have encapsulated things pretty succinctly.

Good gosh. That whole OP has so many things going wrong with it. If any mods stop by, I’d love to know WTF happened.

RT, I think that when Gore answered the actual questions, and talked about the campaign, and talked about his policies, it was a top-notched interview. But singing? For a newspaper interview? How does that work? I think since both these interviews were put side-to-side, Bush comes out looking pretty good.

Here’s another go at the Bush interview:

W-w-why…why…WHY? Why would he SING to it? Good god. Profoundly disturbing this is…That’s just…and this ISN’T a proposal for a SNL sketch? Ahh…

Makes me glad I didn’t vote for him. ::shudder::
