How can I read arabic characters on the internet? I guess it must be pretty easy, like in loading some police somewhere or somesuch, but I’m clueless concerning this sort of things, so I don’t know at all how to proceed. Can someone help me?
You can go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and download Arabic Language Support for Internet Explorer. That will enable IE to display Arabic pages.
To Type using a westrn keyboard you can go to

and download Arabic Keyboard support over Non-Arabic platform
You can go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ and download Arabic Language Support for Internet Explorer. That will enable IE to display Arabic pages. If you just go to a page in Arabic script Windows will display a box proposing to do the installation automatically.
