Can anyone reccomend a Band of Brothers type book?
Perhaps The Naked and the Dead?
Can you be more specific? Are you looking for a work about US paratroopers? or about any type of troops in WW2? or any type of troops in any war? Does it have to be non-fiction? (Naked & the Dead is fiction) etc
Anyway, the closest match to BoB is probably Donald R. Burgett’s series of books. He’s written 3 (IIRC) books about his experiences with the 101st Airborne Division in Europe - this division was the parent formation that the BoB company belonged to.
