I watched all of the TV presentation, through the National Cathedral service.
My question is:
What was the beat up old van just ahead of the hearse actually carrying Reagan’s casket?
It seemed so out of place with all the obviously new limos and the hearse.
If I may be so bold as to hijack your thread, I noticed something, or rather, someone, else who seemed out of place. But this was during the service itself…toward the end, as the body bearers were processing down the nave’s aisle to retreive the casket. They were followed by an elderly black woman. Did anyone else notice her? She seems to have disappeared before the body bearers reached the crossing.
