Maybe it was 7% when he was a little one? No way that’s a wholly accurate figure now. I do about 99% of my communicatin’ online. Take that, Dr. Phil!
and I’d thought december was democratic…
so someone brought this up. thought about it a few times but didn’t.
i presume this will vary a lot with each person.
in most ways i am more the REAL ME on line than in real space. if i went to a party with 20 other people and said some things i REALLY THOUGHT, 10 people would freak out, 8 people would look confused, 1 person would say “that sounds interesting.” and the last would stop me after the party and say “i thought of that years ago and didn’t tell anybody.”
i can accept that i am not NORMAL but i have to cope with NORMALS in real space. in cyperspace i can be the real me and just get flamed now and then. asbestos skin comes in handy.
i think the internet can cause brain leakage though. i have slipped in real space in the last year and i used to not do that. if anything i am amazed that there are so many NORMAL people in cyberspace. the world is more NORMAL than i thought. i must create and distribute more neuron torpedoes.
i assume that every time someone puts a post on the internet they give a little peek into their mind. it may be difficult to interpret that peek but we all give away something. you might learn more in real space from tone of voice, body language, habits of behavior. you have to guess how accurate what you think you know is.
