Curse of the Cat People is clearly not supernatural. Some things hint at it, but they’re clearly in the little girl’s imagination.

It’s arguably not horror, but rather psychological drama, though it hints at horror. Completely different time from the original.

I may be the only one who remembers this horror movie: Don’t Look Now. Starring Donald Sutherland and Julie Christie.

I love that movie! Still haunts me.

A great film, except for the mostly unforgotten horrible, totally unerotic sex scene.

ETA: I don’t know how they managed to make a sex scene with freaking Julie Christie horrible, but they pulled it off.

How about “Island Of Lost Souls”? Crudely “scientific” and not very true to the source, but nothing supernatural.

Everybody’s forgetting Halloween!

Just watched Homicidal today, as I’m a HUGE fan of Mr. Sardonicus (both by William Castle). Sad to say, it was terrible. Oh well.

I was embarrassed, despite watching it alone, so I just averted my eyes, probably took a leak, grabbed a snack, did a backflip, etc.

I wish I could have liked it like you guys… Oh well.

Session 9. The subplot about the session tapes of the girl’s different personalities (purposely) hint that there’s something supernatural going on but it’s really about a man losing his sanity. Great film.

Aaaaaaand, I just realized that this doesn’t fit into the time frame of the OP. Sorry.
