Really Cool Pools

See here.

And they are, too.

I want one!

I want Angkor Wat!

I like this pool.

Thats great! I want one!

Do the pools have to be manmade? If not, I vote for Devil’s Pool!

Yikes. I got dizzy just looking at the pictures.

This one is perfect.

So is this one.

I’d also settle for this.

I love these, too, but I pity the guy who has to tend this:

How does he get the lawnmower over? On a raft? What about the clippings? He’s gotta truck them over without dropping them in the pool. Not to mention the hedge trimming and the like.

I’ll take a barren island, myself, if I gotta look after it.

Viewing my brother’s yard with my uncle who hadn’t visited in 5 years, we talked about how many fewer trees there were–especially in the vicinity of the pool. While the stated motivation for tree removal has generally been “to get more sunshine in the pool, so maybe the water will get warm enough to swim in”, one has to suspect that reducing the amount of leaves which must be fished out of the pool has been a factor–or at least a benefit.

Excellent question. My guess is that there is some sort of removable bridge.

I think that I been at that exact pool. It looks like a pool at a show home I saw in La Quinta about a year ago.
