Well, there’s a craft fair coming up. I’m going back to work on Tuesday. I’m seeing a live radio show next month. My birthday’s early next month, for what it’s worth. My friend’s having a party next weekend.
I have put too much work into these kids for them to be too young to remember me after I die.

What keeps me going is to “take a day at a time”. It can help to just focus on the day at hand and it seems to make me feel calmer that way. There is no way for any of us to escape death, so we might as well just make the best of it while we are here. I’ve heard it can also help at the end of the day to write down five things that went well that day.
