The CD I’ve asked the kid for is Crowded House’s Woodface. I used to have it, my favourite driving music, but haven’t seen it for years. I am a bugger for lending stuff to people, so it’s probably in some other car’s player.

Bumping my own thread to say I just bought yet *another *pair of the boots off ebay - I now have them in black UK size 5, brown UK6 (bit big, but okay with thick winter socks!) and just found a once-worn brown pair in a 5 which will be a better fit. I’ll hoard the bigger brown pair as a spare set 
I also just rebought “Pirate Ballads” for myself - I’d bought a copy when it came out years ago, but since it was a gift for the now-ex, it got left behind, and I miss it.
Still haven’t found the dresses I’m looking for though!
