I’d watch. But can we reconsider Danny Bonaduce? He’s too intense, and though skeevy enough, isn’t the right kind of skeevy.

Danny Bonaduce is also verging on critical overexposure right about now. The next thing he’s attached to is going down in flames no matter what else.
What about Judge Reinhold as host? I don’t think he’s been too busy lately.
I think Sean Hayes is too “nice” and bubbly to be Charles Nelson Riley. I think he’s just the most popular gay actor around and no one can think of a better one.
I nominate Scott Thompson (from Kids In The Hall) - he can be smarmy and crude while being clever, and rock an ascot to boot!
ALTHOUGH…Hayes would come with his own Brett Sommers - Megan Mulally 
I just consulted my brother, who is a match game junkie. He came up with Craig Ferguson as Dawson and Sinbad for Nipsey Russell.
I think Tony Hale (Buster from Arrested Development) would make a good Gary Burghoff stand-in. Guy who plays a man-child on TV who is probably a dirty old man in real life.
Also…there’s a Match Game marathon on GSN on the 25th and a MATCH GAME DOCUMENTARY on the 26th:
