Rechargeable Battery For My Roland KC-350?

So I busk in NYC and I’m looking for a way to bring my electronic gear with me, but I won’t have any outlets to plug into. I’ve got a Roland KC-350 and a Line 6 M13 Stompbox (so much fun!) that both need good ol’ 3-prong inputs.

Is there a rechargeable battery pack out there that I can use to bring my gear to the subway or park? I know they make battery powered amps, but I really need one the size I have. Plus my stompbox would feel neglected.

I figure some other doper has run into the same problem, since there appear to be a ton of guitar players on here. A big plus would be a removable battery pack so that I could bring more than one charge to each session.

Any thoughts?

Do a google search on “battery packs that deliver 110 volt”. Looks like Duracell makes one (power pack 600). That’s a lot of amp for the subway, BTW.

I’ve looked into buying an inverter for a car battery or marine battery or something, but never got around to it. I’d just buy a small job that runs on batteries from the factory (can’t remember some of the names, but they’re cheap). How in the hell do you plan to shlep a KC350 anyway? (And, speaking as someone who’s played through a number of the larger KC amps, but never owned one, why did you choose that amp for guitar in the first place? Not criticizing, but I am curious).

ETA the stompbox or whatever you have should be easy to run off batteries. Can’t imagine it needs much power unless it’s a super mega multi processing fx thing. Figure out voltage and current it needs, then go to Rat Shack or some electronics place and buy a battery pack – maybe you’ll only need 4 AA batteries or a couple of 9 volts or something.

Yes! This is exactly what I’m looking for. Any idea how many continuous hours I’d get out of one of these?

I’m actually a woodwind player. The keyboard amps tend to give me the warmest sound. I use the stompbox for effects and to layer loops together. If I use any smaller unit, I get serious feedback.

Sounds like a good plan. Thanks guys!
