When I lived in Seattle, I was a huge fan of Purple Cafe & Wine Bar. They had a really great appetizer - it was a baked boucheron goat cheese, served with drizzled honey and sprinkled dried cherries.
My parents are coming to visit this weekend and I would love to try to recreate this dish as an appetizer. My google-fu powers are failing me, does anyone have any ideas?
The rest of the menu will be:
Maple glazed salmon
Maybe a salad
Molten lava cake for dessert (this is fabulous!)
