We refinanced with Pentagon Federal Credit Union, and we’ve been very happy with them. Their rates are generally among the best and they haven’t tried to screw us with anything like hidden fees or early payment penalties. You don’t have to be in the military or work for the Pentagon to use them, you just have to make a $60 donation to some military related charity when you sign up. Well worth it if it means getting a better mortgage rate, obviously.
