A search of the SDMB brought up some mentioning of Buckethead, but the only recommendation that I saw was for a CD called Colma (I wonder if that’s named after the cemetary town here in the Bay Area), but the recommendation was for relaxing, soothing music. I’m probably going to buy that one, but I’d also like to hear something a bit more rocking. Any thoughts?
I’m not familiar with all of his work, but Population Override is one of my very favorite albums. I very highly recommend it.
I’ve got Colma and Electric Tears. Both are awesome chill albums.
Buckethead (who performs in a white mask topped by a takeout chicken bucket) had a column in Guitar Player magazine. His columns were far from easy listening, and this new angle adds to his (or her) aura of mystery.
Is your guess as good as mine? Probably.
