Springers are small dogs?? As a person who snuggles with 42-pound Dottie on top of my chest every evening (“Come on up, Dottie (plop) UNNGH!”), I would have to disagree with that characterization.
The late great Miss Emily was only 35 pounds at her fighting weight, but she was the runt of the litter. Dottie and Phyllis’s sire was 55 pounds at last meeting.
