Recommend a good ASL website for young signers

One of my students(3 years old) isn’t deaf or mute, but, partly because she’s developmentally delayed and partly because she isn’t motivated to, doesn’t speak. Well, she does say about 6 words, and so far refuses to try others(much to the frustration of her speech patologist.) Anyway, she uses some signs at school and at home, and we’re trying to increase the number of signs she uses. We’ve added about a dozen in the last month, and she likes learning them, though her co-ordination makes her signs aproximations of what they should be. The problem I have is that the dictionaries we have aren’t really geared towards little kids, so there are lots signs she’d never use, and they also lack ones for words small children would want to use…

Can anyone recommend a site that’d have signs that’d be fun and useful for a small child to learn? Pretty much anything related to school, play and daily life. (and doesn’t focus on colors or animals. She has those down)

I bought Linda Bove’s book about a dozen times for gifts, The ABCs of Sign or something like that, its for kids, & its about three dollars. Mostly fingerspelling & some words.

I also want to chime in with a recommendation for a video called “Sign Songs.” It’s a music video of kid songs and they’re all signed. My friend has a toddler and recommends it highly. I haven’t bought it yet myself, but have been meaning to. We taught my son a little ASL when he was a baby but we don’t use it anymore. I’d like to get back into it. It was so helpful when we couldn’t understand him, and my cousin uses a lot of sign language because he has speech problems, and it would be nice for Cranky Jr to be able to do some back!
