A friend in Manchester recently married. I’d like to arrange for a gift certificate to a local restaurant as a wedding present.
Could someone please provide me with the name of a romantic, trendy, fun, centrally located place? I’d appreciate a link so that I can deal with the restaurant online.
I’m thinking about spending US$100 - would this be adequate for two?

Me neither. I’m from Greater Manchester but not really an expert on the restaurant scene.

Unfortunately, my favourite Manchester restaurant does not seem to have a website. It’s the Kailash on the corner of Portland Street and Charlotte Street; the finest Nepalese restaurant in the UK. Well, it was back in the mid-90’s. I can’t vouch for it now.
