I enjoyed the strategy calculations for Trimps. Cookie clicker was OK for a minute, but it got boring fast, and the new minigames just don’t do much for me.
Are there any out there that you’ve really enjoyed? I don’t want to have to look at it 30 times day, but I would like something that does require actual strategic thinking. I don’t mind paying a nominal fee to download, but pay to advance type games are right out. I think I might like a farming game if there’s one that’s sufficiently advanced.
Talibri is a largely text-based MMO browser-based game where you can fight monsters, gather materials, craft gear and supplies, or all of those things. It is very actively being developed, so new features (guilds, housing) are coming.
IIRC, A Dark Room was more of an exploration game that had a few idle elements, and CivClicker you couldn’t let run overnight, or you’d be overrun by barbarians. I haven’t tried the others.
And the newest minigame in Cookie Clicker, gardens, busts the game wide open. I won’t give any more details just yet, because I want to exploit it to the max before it’s patched (hey, it’s not cheating!). Suffice to say that there’s a new strategy that blows away everything that’s come before.
I loved A Dark Room, but played it out a long time ago.
Curse you for telling me about the cookie clicker update! I was free! Free as the wiiiinnnnnd! :smack:
Oh, well, OK. I did say I wanted a farming game.
Thanks to everybody for the suggestions! I will definitely give kittens a try.
And while I was looking I found Space Company which seems good, though I only gave it a couple of hours last night. It doesn’tquite reach the level of strategy, but there is quite a bit of balancing to keep track of. And there are quite a few levels apparently.
That’s odd. I’ve gone to that site at work (shush!) to check in every so often (besides running at home), and we’re on a very, very locked-down corporate network in a Fortune 200 company. It has a very active community and the dev communicates daily with the players on Discord.
I’m not disputing you got a malware warning, just…puzzled.
I get that the website is improperly configured, and the certificate belongs to talibri.com. Your link goes to www.talibri.com. Leave off the www and you don’t get the warning.
