Recommend a pitch shifting device/app

I’m wanting to play both lead parts of “Those Shoes” by the Eagles. I can’t find a way to actually finger both (my fingers ain’t that agile any more). So what I’d like is a pitch shifter that will sound the top part while I play the bottom part. This would be live, of course–in the studio anything is possible.

Thanks!

Behringer makes the cheapest effects pedal that I’ve seen. includes pitch changing.

A really good effects pedal would cost well over a $150. The Behringer isn’t as fancy but it’s fine for casual home use.

The description is less than enlightening. Does it allow you to specify what harmony note you get for each note you play? Gonna need that for what I want to do.

According to Amazon: "Pitch Shifter: The pitch shifter slightly detunes the audio signal. " So does not do harmony. That’s not gonna work.

this short youtube vid demos the Behringer FX600. He talks about the pitch control towards the end. Does harmony, octaves etc. Octaves are cool because it makes the guitar sound like a 12 string. Harmony is probably what you’re looking for and he briefly demos that.

for $40 it’s pretty powerful. But. as you’d expect, the more costly pedals do a heck of a lot more. you get pretty much what you pay for in music gear features.

I prefer playing through a straight amp and using effects pedals. I’ve never liked modeling Amps. I use a Fender Blues Jr.

They may have got better in the ten years or so since I was using them, but Behringer’s stomp boxes used to be absolutely horrible in terms of reliability.
