Recommend a restaurant in Asheville, NC?

Meeting a friend for dinner next Sunday in Asheville, NC. Can someone recommend a nice restaurant that will tolerate a greasy motorcyclist who has just covered several hundred miles in elevated temperatures? Ideally it would be a local restaurant, not a chain, and not fast food. BBQ, Italian, German, steakhouse, something like that would be great.
