Recommend a Window 7 key finder that is safe

I need to recover a Windows 7 license key at my workplace. I have found many online but I wonder if they are safe. That is, the software would not save a copy of my keys and send it out ssomewhere online.

Any suggestions?

This one is written by one of my friends. It does not support Windows 7, but he recommends a product that does, and I trust him.
