I’ve decided that I need to learn something about economics. The business section of the paper could be written in Swahili for all it makes sense to me. I took econ in high school, but I was a. disinterested and b. my teacher was a complete loon. I came away with only the vaguest idea of how the stock market works, let alone any other aspect of economics. Anyway, I’m really interested in global politics and I try to follow the debate on globalization, but knowing as little about economics as I do, half the stuff goes over my head.
So please, if you know of any good books that describe how economics work, please help me out.
