Recommend me a photo place for holiday cards.

I pondered putting this in GQ, but it seemed more mundane than anything. Besides, I’m getting a head start on the '05 Holiday Season.

Here’s what I wanna do: I want to take a digital picture, e-mail it to a photo place, and have 'em print out 50 of those “Happy Holiday” photo card things. You get 'em all the time with family/children/portrait pictures, etc.

Well, this year, I’ll be overseas again but still want to get these things out to everyone (yeah, being military has benefits like free healthcare, educational benefits, and halfway-legit excuses for forgetting birthdays and not sending holiday cards). Knowing how slow mail takes to get over there, I’m going to take a digital picture ASAP and e-mail it, so I can fill out cards and get 'em in the regular mail by December for the holidays.

So, does Wal-Mart do stuff like this, or are there other companies out there that can? My buddy did it (him in the cockpit of a B-52), but I can’t get ahold of him to find out how he did do it. :frowning:

Any help?

I’ll be deploying with a little Christmas tree and Santa hat, just for this picture.

My one, obligatory bump for ‘prime time’ viewing.

I shall bump this thread no more.

The U.S. Postal service offers NetPost. You can custom design your card with your photo and message and they will print as many or as few as you would like. They will even affix postage on the cards for you too. And the rates for this service are very reasonable. It comes out to less than $2.00 per card with postage included.

I’ve had only the best luck with Shutterfly and having had about 300+ pictures recently developed and delivered in a 72 hour time frame ( not express, I’m too cheap for that.) made me a very happy customer.
