Okay, I already know the Bettmann Archives (or Corbis), and found the Hulton Archives earlier today. You all know I’m a fiend for history-especially European royalty, mostly the Russian and Serbian royals. So, does anyone know where I can find some nice image archives, similiar to those above?

I haven’t used them, so can’t say for sure - but I wandered over to their registration page and it doesn’t look like there’s anything to stop you, technically. Is it illegal to do so? Dunno, but I get the impression that people putting up bogus personal information on forms like this happens a lot.

BTW, out of all the sites on Creativepro’s list, the two Getty operations - GettyOne and Getty Images - are good sources for news and historical photos.
