Short, intense and bursting with hot scenes, this novel starts with an alley way fuck and continues in that manner for the entire novel. Pairs a sweet architect Jaime with a muscle bound alpha named Bram. Draws you in - likable characters – a very solid novel. (I find this to be so sexually intense I can’t read through all the smut in one sitting.)

Victor is a police officer (of sorts). He see’s dead people. Seeing dead people, as experienced through Victor really doesn’t lead to one being a stable, non suppressant popping person, but this is one of the things that make this novel so interesting. He feels very real to me, for all his psych powers.
Throw in other supernatural goings on, conflicts in the police force, mysteries to solve and a scorching hot cop trying to jump his bones and I list this as another solid entry. (Heck, the smut starts chapter one so no complaints on that front either).
If you’re ever looking into Yaoi Manga (M/M graphic novels), I have boatloads of these to recommend. My husband had to build me a library in our spare bedroom to house them all…

Can I recommend Robin Schone?
It’s all historical, full length novels and a couple of novella/short stories in compilations. Porn with a plot, mostly. It’s all M/F but gets a bit kinky at times and is certainly graphic and not women’s lit/romance novel metaphor.
The Lover and Gabriel’s Woman are a set and her best so far, I think. I think Gabriel’s Woman is the better of the two but I like dark heroes.
The Lady’s Tutor is a good solid erotic story. One of the side characters shows up in her novella in the Fascinated compilation.
Scandalous Lovers is her most recent, came out last year. More plot then the others but still some hot scenes.
Awaken My Lovely is terrible. I couldn’t finish it. I think it was her first novel published and it certainly showed.
I see from Amazon she has a new one out next month, better go add that to my wish list.

Well, you know, you actually described the type of sex in the books which is kind of the point here. It admittedly wasn’t a very high bar. Perhaps I’m unique in that the sex and kink is more important than the plot in my erotica.
