Recommend me some webcomics!

I’d stumbled across that a time or two in the past, but never really had the leisure to get really into it… Now I did, and holy hell it’s just ridiculously awesome! I just read the part where he

surfs to Earth from Dracula’s secret moonbase on the latter’s robot double.

I’d like to third Sluggy Freelance and add:

Subnormality: There’s a displaced Sphinx who eats people!

Erfworld: It has a lot to do with RPGs, but I’m not at all a gamer and I can still follow the story.

El Goonish Shive: I’m still working my way through back issues of this one. Fair warning: it’s very fetishy, what with all the furries and the male-female transformation rays all over the place.

Unicorn Jelly, Pastel Defender Heliotrope, and To Save Her: Opinion varies a lot on these. They’re all part of the same multiverse, but they can each stand alone, and unlike so many webcomics, they each have “a definitive beginning, middle and end”. To Save Her is still in progress. Also, don’t let the pretty colors and cutesy characters fool you; the actual content of J. Deitz’s work is fairly dark.

Sacred Pie! I love the art style on this comic. The updates are pretty slow (once weekly). There’s also some crude flash animation in Book 1. The overall plot is getting a bit confused, but Book 2’s stint on the prison world remains my favorite part of this comic.

I’ll post my favorites now that I can post again.

VG Cats is a fun comic that updates very infrequently.

Better than that is the offshoot Super Effective! Which follows along the basic story of Pokemon Red.

Also I can’t help but take this time and toot my own horn and show a few of mine.
