One that I haven’t seen mentioned yet is RustDesk, which is open source. I can drive my Windows 10 machine from an iOS device. It’s lightweight and looks similar to AnyDesk and TeamViewer.
Ooh, RustDesk says it can “elevate privilege locally or from remote on demand” which would solve @FordPrefect criticism of most RDP software.
Welcome to the boards @green_griffon.

In dealing with remote support for my aged parent, and others, I will not shirk on paying for software that makes what I need to do REALLY BLOODY EASY. The less time I have to spend on it, the better.
I use both Logmein, and Splashtop. Both work exceptionally well. I don’t mind the charges for either of them, because my sanity is worth $50 a year.
(No, Dad, click the OK. The OK. The button that says OK. Not the NO button. Don’t click the NO button. OK. So, you clicked the NO button. now let’s go back…).

Rather than start a new thread, I’ll piggy back on this one. I need to set up remote access so I can fix things on my 98 year old dad’s Mac from my Windows 10 PC. Of the suggestions above (Chrome Remote Desktop, Teamviewer) are there any gotchas with going from PC to Mac?
