So I have been listening to some post rock such as Mogwai, Mum, and Sigur Ros.
Could someone recommend some other bands that are also very post-rock that has little or no vocals in it similar to the bands I mentioned above?
Thanks in advance.

What’s your opinion on Isis?
Get the album TNT. It’s kinda old school now, but it is awesome.
Also, check out Slint. There are lyrics, but it’s also great, seminal, stuff. Spiderland is what to look for with them.
Tortoise is closer to Sigur Ros, Slint is closer to Mogwai.
The other stuff in this vein that I listen to has heavy folk and country or Jazz/blues overtones, so if you are down with that check out:
Jackie-O-Motherfucker
and
Califone
They are kinda jazzy heavily instrumental heavily textured ambient music. Good stuff.
Ellen Allien? Not sure of the term, so maybe not.
There’s stuff that’s, like, from an alternate universe where Rock never happened, like k.d. lang’s best stuff, Antony and the Johnstons, Scott Walker. But that’s not post-rock; it’s more, um, instead-of-rock?
Some great instrumental, orchestral, not-much-rock-influence stuff is Steroid Maximus, Gondwanaland; Fridge, Happiness; Four Tet, Pause; Nobukazu Takamura, Child’s View; anything by Jimi Tenor. Some Mercury Rev and Flaming Lips nearly approaches the post-rock feel of Sigur Ros and Mum.
Are those way off the mark? Or in your ballpark?
Dirty Three’s self titled album is one of my all time favorites. Just listen to the opening track and you will be sold.
Also good are Godspeed You Black Emperor, Explosions in the Sky, and Do Make Say Think.
Slint is a personal favorite, but they have vocals you might not like.
Russian Circles, Do Make Say Think, Pelican, Thank You, and a lot of noise/math bands like HEALTH and Fiasco are post-rock, atleast to me.
But I’d like to take this time to promote some of the best local music we have in Greensboro: The Bronzed Chorus
A hearty second of Do Make Say Think, and also I would say bands like Godspeed you Black Emperor! and A Silver Mount Zion (etc etc) should be in there as well.
But everyone should listen to Godspeed’s album F#A#(Infinity).
