Recommend some ridiculously epic music

Ahh right thanks.

Glory is good. Another good part of the soundtrack is the music from the attack on Ft. Wagner, as seen in this youtube clip.

If it’s good enough to storm hot LZ’s full of charlie then ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ is good enough for anything.

Mannheim Steamroller:

  1. Fanfare for the Common Man
  2. Yellowstone Morning
  3. Heritage
  4. Mt. McKinley
  5. Cloudburst

The Plagues and Deliver Us from The Prince of Egypt. PoE is an animated musical recounting the story of Exodus, and the music is amazing and epic in every sense of the word.

Reminds me a bit of Operation Get Behind the Darkies from the Southpark movie.

Science Fiction TV–

Theme From Robotech–by Ulpino Minnuchi. Suprising heroic.

Battlestar: Galactica–theme from Original Series.

It’s OK, I’m used to being in the minority with every opinion I have. And I stand by my views on this subject.

Adiemus - Adiemus
Buena - Morphine
Just like you imagined - Nine Inch Nails
Storms in Africa - Enya

Death is the road to awe - Clint Mansell

Gouryella - Walhalla
Chicane - Saltwater
Aria - Dido (Armin Van Buuren’s Universal Religion Mix)
Hybrid - Finished Symphony
Mike Foyle - Shipwrecked (John OCallaghan vs Mike Foyle Club Mix)

For something truly ridiculous and epic, there’s the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain’s cover of Sergio Leone’s theme to The Good, the Bad & the Ugly. It’s on YouTube. [Warning: watching this could turn you into a fan of this ensemble, and once you see and hear their version of Kate Bush’s “Wuthering Heights,” you’ll never again be able to hear the original version with a straight face.]

On a slightly more serious note, there’s the score to Where Eagles Dare, which I suspect “inspired” Neil Innes’ berserker theme for Sir Lancelot in Monty Python & the Holy Grail. Given the similarity, either should suffice.

That was perhaps the funniest piece of music I have ever heard. Thanks!
