My best friend is planning to get married at the lighthouse on Tybee Island in June (a sunrise wedding on the beach – how romantic is that?!). Hubby and I want to go, and take a little vacation in the Savannah area that week. We’re planning to stay 3 nights, and are looking for a great bed and breakfast or hotel in which to stay. I’ve sent for information from several area inns, but I also thought I’d solicit opinions from the SDMB. Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay that isn’t terribly expensive? $200 per night is our absolute upper limit. If the inn has a “romance package” or some such, we’d be interested in that, too.
